History of Action Closing

Action Closing & Title was formed, in April 2001, to provide service to out of county lenders who need local assistance. Many of these lenders have been accustomed to handling their real estate transactions through settlement and closing companies. Until Action Closing & title was formed, that option was unavailable to them in Venango County.

It has also become apparent that even local lenders appreciate the option of using a closing company.

Action Closing started primarily as a closing company, doing various types of mortgage closing; including first mortgages, refinances, and witness closings. As the business evolved it was apparent there was a need for abstracting work for local financial institution's home equity products. This need extended to the counties surrounding Venango and our abstracting and closing services expanded into Crawford, Mercer, Clarion, Forest and Warren Counties. We have developed the ability to do abstracting work in Lawrence, Butler, Erie, Beaver, Jefferson, McKean, and Alleghany Counties.
